Drained X
Lose Constitution-based rolls and a chunk of maximum HP.
Drained has a numeric value — written as Drained 1, Drained 2 and so on. The value is the size of the effect.
What it does
- Status penalty equal to the value on Constitution checks and Fortitude saves.
- Lose maximum HP equal to the value times your level, and the same amount of current HP.
How it ends
Reduces by 1 each time you get a full night of rest.
At the table
Resting off Drained restores maximum HP but not the current HP you lost, so a drained character wakes up capped lower than they expect.
